That the following items be approved as presented: 15(a), 17(a), 17(b), 17(e).

15(a) — Contract Amendment - StreetScan Data Collection and Asset Management Software

This report was approved as part of the Consent Agenda.

16(a) — Immigration - Driver of Growth, Ethno-Cultural Diversity and Community Culture

The Director of Community Culture & Connections provided Council with details on immigration-driven population growth as well as initiatives supported by the Community Attraction and Promotion Division

17(a) — Draft Provincial Planning Statement (information report)

This report was received as part of the Consent Agenda.

17(b) — Community Improvement Plan Property Tax Increment Equivalent Grant Application - 460 Keil Drive South

The report was approved as part of the Consent Agenda.

17(c) — Application for Deeming By-law - Talbot Trail, Community of Romney

Deeming By-law application File D-14 RO/07/23/R, to deem the subject lands, in the Community of Romney, Lots 1-52, Plan 394, Lots 1-28, Plan 391 and Lots 1-10 & Lots 18-28, Plan 390, not to be on a Plan of Subdivision, be approved, and the by-law be adopted.

17(d) — Application for a Plan of Condominium with Exemption - 1001 Park Avenue West

The application of 1000200034 Ontario Inc. for an exemption under Section 9(3) of the Condominium Act for approval of a Plan of Condominium (Vacant Land Condominium) for a 167-unit vacant land condominium at the property known as 1001 Park Avenue West, in the Community of Chatham (City), in Part of Lot 19, Concession 5 (Raleigh), be approved, and the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign the Final Plan of Condominium.

17(e) — Removal of H Holding Symbol and Deeming By-law - 866 & 868 Hiawatha Beach

This report was approved as part of the Consent Agenda.

18(a) — Compass Group Canada Contract Extension

That Council direct administration to negotiate the potential of a shorter term extension or examine placing a clause that permits the potential for the municipality to opt out of particular provisions, or to terminate the contract early at a specified time period noted in the contract.

19(a) — Citizen Review Committee on Council Remuneration: 2022 to 2026 Term

Elected officials in Chatham-Kent be able to accept payments, stipends, per diems or similar benefits associated with participation on regionally, provincially, or federally focused committees, boards or groups, if they choose, provided that:

22(a) — Approval of June 5, 2023 Council Information Package

That the June 5, 2023 Council Information Package be approved.

22(a) — Letter of support for Primary Care Organizations

That Chatham-Kent Council send a letter of support for the four Primary Care Organizations in Chatham-Kent comprised of the Chatham-Kent Family Health Team, Thamesview Family Health Team, Tilbury District Family Health Team and Chatham-Kent Community Health Centres in expanding and Enhancing interprofessional Primary Care Teams.

24(a) — By-laws first reading

That the by-laws be taken as read for the first time.

24(b) — By-laws second reading

That the by-laws be taken as read for a second time.

24(e) — By-laws third and final reading

That the by-laws be taken as read for a third time and finally passed.

25 — Adjournment

That Chatham-Kent Council adjourn to its next Meeting to be held on Monday, June 12, 2023 and that Chatham-Kent Council authorize itself to meet in closed session on that day to discuss any matters permitted by The Municipal Act.
