That the motion by Councillor Allin re Vaccination Policy for Council and Committee members be postponed until such time as the Employee Vaccination and Verification and testing policy is suspended in its entirety.

Therefore, be it resolved that the vaccination verification and testing policy for Council and committee members be suspended in full, therefore not requiring new Councillors or committee members to be vaccinated or test as a condition of participating in municipal business on municipal premises.

Councillor Jubenville presented a notice of motion regarding the suspension of the balance of the Employee Vaccination Verification and Testing Policy for all Municipal Staff which requires new hires to be vaccinated as a condition of hire.

That Chatham-Kent Council adjourn to its next Meeting to be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 and that Chatham-Kent Council authorize itself to meet in closed session on that day to discuss any matters permitted by The Municipal Act.
