Motions moved vs agenda-listed member motions

Agenda-listed member motions are motions that appeared in eScribe agendas as "Motion by Councillor X." This is a source-specific measure of formal member motions listed on agendas. It is not a complete measure of councillor work, informal advocacy, committee work, amendments, debate, or behind-the-scenes initiative. The minutes-derived motion counts are shown separately and continue to reflect the current minutes-derived dataset.

"Motions moved" is the existing site metric — who formally moved an item to a vote, from the council minutes. "Agenda-listed member motions" counts motions listed in eScribe agendas as "Motion by Councillor X." These are two different measures shown side by side; neither replaces the other. See Methodology.
