Council adopt the Strategic Housing Action Plan (2026–2050) as the Municipality’s long‑term housing framework.
Any costs to implement recommendations and strategic actions to be referred to the 2027 Budget Update, 2028-2031 Multi-Year Budget, long-term Asset Management Plan and future reports to Council for further review and approvals.
As each specific housing proposal comes to Council for approval, robust public consultation will be a key component in each individual approval process, including in-person meetings and online engagement and detailed results of this public consultation will be included in each report to Council."
