Opposition to York1 Waste Solutions Dresden Facility Applications (vote; carried (14-0))

- Summary: Council resolved that it is opposed in principle to the York1 Waste Solutions proposed waste processing, storage, transfer, landfill and composting facility at 29831 Irish School Road near Dresden, called on the Province to reject the applications or designate a full EA, directed the Mayor to write to the Minister and local MPPs, and authorized administration to retain technical experts and make submissions in opposition. Moved by Councillor McGrail, seconded by Councillor Jubenville.
